National Association of State Directors of Veterans Affairs NASDVA is an organization consisting of the top veterans affairs official in each state and territory. We provide a medium for the exchange of ideas and information between states so that we can learn from each other and organize responses to issues that face veterans nationwide. We work to secure uniformity, equality, efficiency, and effectiveness in providing services to veterans and their families, especially in regards to claims representation. We are willing partners with the Congress, the federal Department of Veterans Affairs, veteran services organizations and the Department of Defense. People with a sincere interest in working with state governments to help veterans and their families can become Associate Members of NASDVA. Applications should be made through your state or territories Director of Veterans Affairs.

Disabled American Veterans You can count on DAV service from DAV National Service Officers (NSOs) in offices nationwide when you need help. DAV NSOs are highly trained, professional experts who have undergone comprehensive training program in veterans' affairs. NSOs function as attorneys-in-fact, assisting veterans and their families in filing claims for VA disability compensation and pension; vocational rehabilitation and employment; education; home loan guaranty; life insurance; death benefits; health care and much more. DAV NSOs represent more clients than all other veterans' groups at the highest level of appeal within the Department of Veterans Affairs. What's more, all services provided by DAV NSOs are free of charge.

VFW National Veterans Service Service Officers Lead the Way
Service officers are the key to the success of NVS. They advocate for veterans rights. Veterans need not be VFW members to take advantage of this assistance, which is provided free of charge.
